Autographed 7” x 9” matte, double-weight photograph of the legendary basso and creator of Pistola in “Falstaff” Chicago, April 1919.” Arimondi while a first rank bass of his day, also would sing smaller bass roles if the company he was singing for at the time required his services. Arimondi left Italy for the United States and he sung the at the Chicago Opera and taught in the City as well. He also appeared with the Manhattan and Metropolitan Opera. |
