Autographed postcard photograph of the Italian baritone as Don Giovanni. Columbo (1910-2003) was a Giuseppe De Luca protégé. He was known for his diversity of roles, several which he created the leading baritone roles in “Il Priginiero” by Dallapiccola and “Cagliostro” by Pizzetti. He made several complete recordings including a superb Scarpia in “Tosca.” |
