Autographed 8” x 10” January 1984 Opern Glas magazine cover of the late heldentenor. Hofmann was a true cult figure, a heavy metal rocker turned heldentenor and for a few meteoric years, the hope for the salvation of the Wagner roles. Parkinson’s Disease intervened and the once bright star was cut down in his prime. Due to the aggressive nature of his illness, he was unable to sign autographs for some time.
