Excellent condition

Autographed and inscribed rare larger photograph of the Italian lyric tenor dedicated to a pupil, the singer with the chosen voice, named Rose Meyer.  The dedication was a year before his early death in the town he gave student recitals.

The Italian tenor autographs and pens a 5 bar musical quotation from “Manon” of the second act, “Dream Song”, “en fermant les yeux” in Italian “Chiudo gli occhi” as a “souvenir” of the Montevideo opera season, 1905. Unusual!
