Text Box: Jumbo original autographed photograph of the legendary tenor in Gomes opera “Il Guarany.”  The tenor recorded the aria “Vanto il pur” from the opera in 1951, the same year this photograph was signed!  He first performed the work in 1937.

Text Box: The tragic basso-buffo pens the line “Il mio Tesoro” to his new wife, New York, November 12, 1907.  The bass sung at the Manhattan opera, Chicago Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden and throughout Italy.  He died at the age of 42.
